YOUR LIFE AS A PARA-EDUCATOR / TEACHING ASSISTANT
As a Para-Educator / Teaching Assistant, you play a critical role in providing high-quality education to our students. Each morning, you arrive and prepare the classroom for an exciting day of fun and learning. You greet each student with warmth and kindness, helping them feel at home. You then spend your day working under the direction of the teacher to plan, coordinate, and implement the assigned classroom program. Always eager to help, you take cues from the teacher and step in wherever you’re needed. You love providing fantastic education, and get great fulfillment in seeing the students thrive!
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
A bachelor's degree in human services or a related field is preferred but not required. One year or more of experience working in a school setting along with a paraprofessional (ISBE) license would be a plus. If you can meet these requirements and perform this school job as described above, we would be happy to have you as part of our team!
