YOUR LIFE AS A SCHOOL SOCIAL WORKER
As a School Social Worker, you are an important member of our therapeutic day school team. We strive to empower youth with emotional and behavioral challenges to have successful experiences in school, at home, and in the community. You are a key component of that mission.
You plan, prepare, and provide counseling to students weekly, according to their IEPs or general program requirements.
Highly organized, you effectively prioritize multiple responsibilities. You love having a job where you get to help children and youth improve their lives, which is why you excel in this human services position providing social work!
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Master's degree in social work
An Illinois school social work license, LCSW, LSW, LCPC, or LPC
Three or more years of experience serving students with emotional and behavioral disabilities in a therapeutic day treatment school is preferred. If you can meet these requirements and perform this social work job as described above, we would be happy to have you as part of our nonprofit human services team!
