Davis Conference Center & Hilton Garden Inn Housekeeping Supervisor

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Housekeeping Supervisor to lead daily housekeeping operations and ensure exceptional cleanliness, organization, and guest satisfaction. This role is responsible for supervising staff, maintaining brand standards, and supporting overall hotel operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all guestrooms are cleaned, maintained, and stocked according to brand standards
  • Promote positive guest relations by delivering excellent hospitality and service
  • Oversee laundry operations to ensure proper cleaning and compliance with health standards
  • Maintain and update the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) book
  • Train staff on proper cleaning procedures and safe work practices
  • Create and manage weekly staff schedules based on business needs
  • Assign and organize daily housekeeping tasks and room assignments
  • Monitor inventory levels and order housekeeping and operational supplies
  • Conduct quarterly linen inventory
  • Inspect rooms regularly and report maintenance issues or deficiencies
  • Review housekeeping boards daily to ensure room status accuracy
  • Coordinate with management on room status and payroll verification
  • Maintain accurate lost and found records and ensure items are returned to guests
  • Collaborate with the front desk to keep room status up to date
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with guests and team members
  • Ability to train, lead, and motivate staff
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Frequent standing and walking for extended periods
  • Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, and reach overhead
  • Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals

Work Environment

  • Fast-paced hospitality setting
  • Exposure to cleaning agents and laundry equipment
  • Requires flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and holidays
