TURN Community Services was founded in 1973 by a group of parents who wanted better services for their adult children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We provide resources to more than 850 individuals with developmental disabilities. With locations from Brigham City to St. George, we offer a full range of services including day programs, residential living, art center programs, summer camp, and supported employment opportunities.

WHAT YOU DO AS AN EMPLOYMENT SERVICES MANAGER
The typical schedule for this nonprofit social services position is daytime hours Monday through Friday, with some flexibility to work at other times to meet program and participant needs.
As an Employment Services Manager, you are responsible for developing business and collaborative relationships in the community to promote employment for people with disabilities. You work closely with the Utah State Office of Rehabilitation, the Division of Services for People with Disabilities, as well as employment advocacy organizations. Working with the Director of Employment Services, you ensure that contractual obligations are met and oversee the development and implementation of various employment plans for people with disabilities.
Some of your tasks include developing curriculum and services, providing direct service to individuals, managing program operations, and supervising staff in program service delivery. You're responsible for approaching businesses and community members to promote TURN Community Services, employment, and training opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Additionally, you provide job skills training and soft skill instruction, training to employers and co-workers in the community, transportation training, and assist individuals with disabilities to apply for services that may benefit them.
