This is a key leadership role responsible for the overall success of the community, including operations, financial performance, team development, and resident experience.

Key Responsibilities

Community Leadership & Operations

  • Direct and oversee all daily operations of the community
  • Ensure services meet or exceed company standards and resident expectations
  • Maintain resident dignity, privacy, and rights at all times

Financial Management

  • Operate within approved budgets and drive financial performance
  • Assist in developing annual operating and capital budgets
  • Monitor expenses and implement strategies to improve revenue and control costs

Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, hire, train, and retain high-performing team members
  • Supervise department leaders, including:
    • Resident Care Coordinator
    • Food Services Director
    • Marketing Director
    • Activities Director
    • Maintenance and Housekeeping Teams
  • Ensure compliance with all HR policies, employment laws, and company procedures

Occupancy & Marketing

  • Drive census growth and maintain stable occupancy levels
  • Lead community outreach and marketing initiatives
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and referral sources

Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure full compliance with all state and federal assisted living regulations
  • Maintain licensing standards and work collaboratively with regulatory agencies
  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness, safety, and facility maintenance

Resident Experience

  • Foster a positive, engaging, and supportive environment for residents
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of resident information
  • Address concerns promptly and professionally

Qualifications

  • Must meet state requirements for Assisted Living Facility Administrator
  • Proven experience in healthcare or senior living management (long-term care preferred)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Financial and operational management experience
  • Passion for working with seniors and enhancing their quality of life

Work Environment

  • Full-time, on-site leadership role
  • Fast-paced environment requiring strong decision-making and multitasking skills
  • Frequent interaction with residents, families, staff, and community partners
