WHAT DOES A HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR DO?
As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you work to ensure all guest rooms are cleaned to perfection and contain all required amenities. Hospitality-driven, you always practice positive guest relations, making sure our guests feel welcomed and at home! In addition to managing guest rooms, you also keep a close eye on the laundry area. You're responsible for training our housekeepers on proper cleaning techniques to ensure a safe work environment.
To keep things running smoothly, you schedule housekeepers weekly and ensure that rooms are assigned daily for cleaning. You maintain inventory and order in-room and operational supplies, and you conduct quarterly linen inventory to keep everything in check. Working closely with the front desk, you make sure each room's status is kept current.
Each day, you review housekeeping boards to make sure that rooms cleaned vs. rooms occupied are correct, and you review rooms cleaned with the general manager for correct payroll processing. Knowing that you're doing your part to lead our housekeepers to greatness fills you with satisfaction!
QUALIFICATIONS
Bilingual speaking abilities are preferred but not required. Is your attention to detail exceptional? Are you a natural-born leader? Can you provide hospitality with a smile? If yes, you might just be perfect for this hotel cleaning position!
