DAY-TO-DAY
This full- or part-time server position in food service typically works a flexible schedule that includes weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Food service shifts are typically 8 hours but split shifts (doubles) may be scheduled based on the needs of the facility.
As a Cabana Pool Waiter / Waitress with our hospitality team, you are responsible for providing our guests with high-quality beverage and food service at our pool. You help with the daily setup and breakdown of our dining area as well as provide support to other team members and managers to ensure our premium guest offerings are being fulfilled. Using your vast knowledge of our food and beverage options, you provide guests with information on what ingredients we use and our methods of preparation. You take down orders from guests and ensure that they feel welcome and at home within our facility.
In addition, you ensure that members are closed out properly and that all checks are processed. You also prepare server check-out reports and process tips. Through careful monitoring, you ensure that all hospitality areas are kept clean and in compliance with codes for safety and sanitation standards. Whenever an issue arises, you are quick to report it to management to help find a prompt solution. You attend and participate in all staff meetings and training to stay informed about any updates or issues happening with the country club. You are a strong asset to our food service team, and it brings you great satisfaction to know that your customer service skills contribute to our country club in such a big way in this position as a full- or part-time server!
