Legacy House of Taylorsville is now hiring a Part-Time Cook / Server to join our dining services team at our senior living community in Taylorsville, UT. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who enjoys both preparing meals and providing warm, friendly service to residents in a welcoming, team-focused environment.

Schedule

This is a part-time position with morning, mid-day, and evening shifts available, depending on community needs.

Cook / Server Responsibilities

In this dual-role position, you will:

• Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes and dietary requirements
• Serve meals to residents in a courteous, professional, and friendly manner
• Set up, stock, and break down kitchen and dining areas for meal service
• Ensure meals are served on time and at proper temperatures
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, serving, and dining areas
• Follow food safety, infection control, and resident confidentiality standards
• Assist with menu documentation and support team members as needed

Qualifications

• Food Handler's Permit (or ability to obtain one)
• Ability to follow recipes and accommodate special dietary needs
• Previous cooking or food service experience preferred, but not required
• Strong customer service skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Reliable, organized, and compassionate when working with seniors
