Key Responsibilities

As a Medication Technician, you will:

  • Administer medications and treatments under the direction of a licensed nurse
  • Assist residents while maintaining dignity, privacy, and residents' rights
  • Accurately document medication administration and changes in condition
  • Perform basic treatments, including simple dressing changes and skin care
  • Support residents with personal needs while promoting independence
  • Complete delegated tasks as assigned by nursing leadership

This role plays a vital part in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to our residents.

Qualifications

  • Current Caregiver or CNA Certification required
  • Certified Med Tech required
  • Strong communication skills with residents, families, and team members
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and assist with resident transfers
  • Willingness and desire to work with senior residents
  • A respectful, empathetic, and dependable approach to care
