Offering "A Pinch of This - A Pinch of That," the menu at our New American restaurant blends Cuban, Italian, Spanish, and Asian influences with family recipes to provide a one-of-a-kind dining experience. With craft cocktails, innovative menu items, and an enthusiastic hospitality team, one visit is never enough!
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required:
- Open schedule availability with the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to follow recipes, food safety guidelines, and customer instructions
Preferred:
- Food handler's license
- Bilingual - English and Spanish
YOUR NEW ROLE AS OUR RESTAURANT LINE COOK
You'll work varied shifts, and open availability is needed to fully meet business needs. We're open from:
- 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Sunday
- 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Tuesday through Thursday
- 12:00 pm to 11:00 pm, Friday and Saturday
We're closed on Mondays! As for the day-to-day, you can expect to:
- Coordinate with the chef and food service team to serve meals, keep ticket times low, and maintain high levels of sanitation and cleanliness
- Prepare for meal service by getting cold ingredients ready, stocking garnishes and supplies, and setting up your workstation
- Read incoming tickets and prepare cold meals and menu items according to our recipes and customer instructions
- Strategically prepare items to finish them at the same time as the other plates for the table
- Clean and sanitize your work area throughout service and deep clean all equipment at the end of the night
- Be mindful of ingredients and follow food storage guidelines to minimize food waste
- Fully break down the kitchen at the end of the night and create prep lists for the morning
