WHAT YOUR DAY-TO-DAY CONSISTS OF:
As a Financial Planning and Analysis Associate - FP&A, you leverage your financial expertise to provide essential insights into monthly performance across litigation portfolios. You support the close process with variance analysis for revenue, operating expenses, and EBITDA, and lead data preparation for budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections. You build settlement forecasting models, analyze intake funnel performance, and assist with attorney and investor reporting while reconciling data across Salesforce, Litify, and QuickBooks. By automating reporting templates, you ensure data integrity and deliver clear financial insights to senior leadership, including the CFO and partners.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BECOME OUR FINANCIAL PLANNING AND ANALYSIS ASSOCIATE - FP&A:
● Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
● 2–5 years of experience using advanced Excel in a professional setting
● 2+ years of experience building financial models supporting senior-level decision-making
● Advanced Excel proficiency (power formulas, pivot tables, large data sets, financial modeling)
● Comfortable working with Litify, Leadspedia, QuickBooks, Power BI, SharePoint, and complex Excel tranche models
● Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills; able to make sense of messy or incomplete datasets
● Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial topics to non-finance stakeholders
● High level of professionalism and confidence when working directly with senior leadership
● Ability to thrive in a high-velocity, high-autonomy environment with shifting priorities
● Experience in legal services, professional services, private equity, or high-volume operational environments is preferred
● Progress toward CFA, CPA, CMA, or a relevant master's degree is preferred
● Familiarity with corporate finance concepts (IRR, cohort analysis, operating leverage) and a solid grounding in basic accounting
