WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A LANDSCAPE MANAGER

Spanish-speaking skills and additional knowledge of turf grasses and landscape budgeting are preferred. We just ask that you meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelors in horticulture or agronomy or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in landscape management or related field
  • Experience managing teams of 5+
  • Ability to lead by example and hold team members accountable
  • Knowledge of native/adaptive plants and irrigation systems
  • Ability to interpret budgets and work cross-departmentally
  • Ability to obtain a TDA pesticide license within 90 days of hire
  • Ability to work weekends as needed

YOUR NEW ROLE AS OUR LANDSCAPE MANAGER

This is a full-time landscaping position. Weekend work is required, based on the Club's golf and event schedule.

In this role, you'll oversee landscaping at Austin Country Club, supervising your team to ensure vibrant flower beds, manicured lawns, and healthy plants. You'll collaborate with the Golf Course Management, apply fertilizers and pesticides, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines while maintaining quality.
