YOUR SCHEDULE AS A COUNTRY CLUB DINING MANAGER

This is a full-time hospitality and food service position that requires flexibility to meet the needs of the Club and its members. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is essential.


YOUR DAY

As the Country Club Dining Manager, you will oversee the front-of-house leadership team, including two Dining Assistant Managers and the Manager of the Men's Grill, while also supervising the service staff, On-Course Beverage Cart team, Front Desk reception, and seasonal Pool Cabana staff. Your day will involve recruiting, training, and developing high-performing team members and leading pre-shift meetings to maintain consistency in service standards. You will be attentive to member needs throughout the day, ensuring seamless experiences across all dining venues. You will manage operations for multiple outlets and seasonal venues, partnering with the culinary and events teams to deliver holiday buffets, specialty dinners, wine tastings, and themed dining events. Large-scale functions, such as golf tournaments and festivals hosting thousands of members and guests, will also fall under your leadership. In addition to service responsibilities, you will manage beverage inventory, oversee purchasing, and monitor Point-of-Sale systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. You will work closely with the Food & Beverage Director to achieve financial goals, manage labor and beverage costs, and implement best practices for operational efficiency!


REQUIREMENTS

  • Private club experience with a deep understanding of member-focused service culture
  • Leadership experience in high-end restaurants, luxury hotels, or private clubs
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, dining service standards, beer, wine, and spirits
  • Ability to design and execute creative dining experiences and events
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Financial and operational management skills, including budgets, labor costs, and inventory
  • Familiarity with POS systems (Jonas experience preferred)
  • Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods, balance trays, and lift up to 40 pounds
  • Passion for hospitality, service excellence, and team success
