YOUR ROLE

As the Legal Operations Director, you will oversee staff performing day-to-day pre-trial litigation support, ensuring seamless case management among attorneys, paralegals, and client retention personnel. You will evaluate current processes to identify opportunities for efficiency and improvement and develop procedures that support firm objectives.

Your day will include monitoring, analyzing, and summarizing active federal and state court dockets for ongoing and prospective tort campaigns. You will conduct thorough legal and factual research, producing well-written memoranda and case summaries for team members and clients, while collaborating with the in-house technology team to gather and analyze evidence in support of cases. You will also perform research and analysis to support the firm's regulatory and ethics compliance requirements, draft case status updates, review and respond to client questions, and create original blog content for the firm website. Your contributions will balance collaborative project work with independent execution, and your work will be critical to maintaining operational excellence in a high-volume, fast-paced law firm.

YOUR SCHEDULE AS A LEGAL OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

This is a full-time law position based in our Scottsdale, AZ office. You will work typical business hours with occasional travel required.

REQUIREMENTS FOR A LEGAL OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

• J.D. degree and admission in good standing to the AZ State Bar
• 5+ years of litigation experience
• Strong research, writing, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
• Strong understanding of technology
• Passion for consumer protection and social justice issues
