A mandatory 1 week of training is required with a schedule of Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.

The compensation for this role begins with a base pay starting at $18.50 per hour (without experience). It also includes a shift differential: earn up to $3 per hour extra for weekend shifts, $2 per hour extra for evening shifts, and $1 per hour extra for overnight shifts, allowing you to increase your earnings based on your availability. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS OUR CHILDREN'S PROGRAM RESIDENTIAL COUNSELOR
As a Residential Counselor with our nonprofit, you play a vital role in supporting our students to overcome the challenges they face and achieve their goals for independence and self-determination. You are responsible for bridging the gap between their current abilities and their desired outcomes in all areas of their lives. This includes assisting them in developing personal hygiene routines, honing cooking skills, managing their households effectively, fostering meaningful friendships, promoting good health practices, facilitating recreational activities, and encouraging community involvement.
