WHAT YOU'LL DO:

As our Billing Operations Specialist, you'll be the engine behind our financial accuracy. Your work ensures nothing falls through the cracks-from launching new client setups to closing out accounts and coordinating credits. You'll streamline accounting processes, uncover missed revenue, and bring proactive insights to the table-all while partnering with stakeholders across departments.

Here's a snapshot of your day-to-day:

  • Own and manage billing operations, expense tracking, and third-party service billing
  • Review and certify client billing setups, ensuring accuracy and catching any gaps
  • Set up billing for new clients and upgraded services
  • Audit terminated accounts, calculate final charges, and ensure account closures are clean
  • Collaborate on billing credits and ad-hoc billing needs
  • Perform weekly sweeps, deposits, and reporting
  • Build and improve scalable processes that power financial growth

OUR IDEAL BILLING OPERATIONS SPECIALIST:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in billing, accounting operations, or revenue support
  • Proficiency with billing systems and accounting software
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and willingness to learn SQL
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Skilled at reconciling data and resolving discrepancies
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with sales tax processes or compliance
  • Experience with third-party integrations or vendor billing
  • Experience in SaaS, HCM, or payroll environments
  • Working knowledge of SQL
