Human Resources Manager
Position Summary:
Ronzone of Texas, Inc. is a fast-paced hospitality group located in Williamson County, TX (Leander, Liberty Hill, and Georgetown). We're currently seeking an experienced, hands-on Human Resources Manager to lead and grow the HR function for our two different restaurant concepts, supporting approximately 60 employees today, but growing to 100+ in 3-4 months. This position earns competitive base pay of $70k - $75k annually. Our Human Resources Manager position is hybrid, working on-site and remotely. We are actively expanding and refining our people operations, creating new programs, and formalizing processes to support our teams and culture as we scale.

The HR Manager will oversee key areas including recruiting, payroll, benefits, compliance, employee relations, and engagement - while being a strategic partner in supporting operational goals and cultivating a "Best Places to Work" culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Staffing
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for all hourly, management, and support positions across multiple locations.
- Partner with hiring managers to forecast staffing needs and develop effective, creative recruitment strategies.
- Continuously improve recruiting, onboarding, and retention processes to meet the evolving needs of the business.
Payroll, Benefits & Leave Administration
- Manage accurate and timely weekly payroll processing, including tips, deductions, adjustments, and reporting.
- Serve as the main point of contact for employee benefits programs, addressing employee inquiries and managing day-to-day administration.
- Collaborate with leadership to research, evaluate, and recommend new or enhanced employee benefits programs to meet the evolving needs of the business.
- Work with brokers, vendors, and service providers to implement new benefits offerings and ensure a smooth rollout to employees.
- Oversee the administration of all employee leave programs, including statutory or company-offered leaves. Ensure proper documentation, compliance with applicable laws, and timely communication with employees and managers.
Employee Relations & Culture Building
- Foster a positive, team-oriented, and supportive workplace aligned with company values.
- Act as a trusted advisor to management and staff on employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and policy guidance.
- Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, recognition programs, and workplace culture.
- Identify trends and opportunities in employee relations matters and proactively recommend solutions to support a healthy, legally compliant, and high-performing environment.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain HR records and documentation in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures, updating them as the company evolves.
- Manage and conduct workplace investigations related to complaints of harassment, discrimination, misconduct, and policy violations; gather relevant evidence, document findings, and recommend appropriate actions.
- Monitor changes in employment legislation and ensure policies, practices, and trainings remain compliant.
- Identify operational gaps and proactively develop or refine HR systems, tools, and resources where opportunities exist.
Leadership & Problem Solving
- Work independently with minimal supervision, making thoughtful, timely decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with leadership to align HR practices with operational and business goals.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance the employee experience and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5-8 years of progressive HR management experience, preferably in hospitality, restaurant, or service-based environments.
- Strong knowledge of recruiting, payroll, benefits administration, and employment law.
- Experience working in growing, fast-paced, multi-unit businesses where HR systems and processes have been actively built or improved is highly valued.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, collaborative approach.
- Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems (e.g. ADP, Paychex, Toast Payroll, or similar).
- PHR/SHRM-CP or SPHR/SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
