Job Title: Staff Accountant
Position Type: Full-time, Exempt
Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000 annually, DOE (Depending on Experience)
Reports To: Controller

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling key accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting the Controller in maintaining efficient financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate financial records.
• Collaborate with the Controller on budgeting and forecasting.
• Support audits and tax preparations as needed.
• Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Ramp software/program
• Familiarity with QuickBooks Online (QBO)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Prior accounting experience is preferred but not required.
