YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS AN ACTIVITY ASSISTANT
As our Activity Assistant, you're the lifeblood of our assisted living community's programming and events. You have the opportunity to engage with our residents through a variety of activities, such as board games, dancing, crafting, baking, and playing corn hole. Of course, Bingo is a must! You work with our team to create a monthly events calendar and plan daily activities that will keep our residents entertained and engaged. You even have the chance to decorate our facilities for special occasions and set up and tear down events.
Whether you're helping assisted living residents to our in-house theater or accompanying them on a bus ride to an actual theater, you're focused on ensuring that every resident is smiling and enjoying themselves. Yes, it's hard work, but every day is a rewarding adventure in its own unique way!
