BECOMING OUR LEAD PROPERTY MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

As our full-time Lead Property Maintenance Technician, you will lead and train personnel, ensuring all associates have the skills needed to succeed. You will prioritize and schedule work, resolving problems efficiently. Your role will involve maintaining the hotel's pool and building exterior. You will keep detailed logs, manage inventory, and perform or assist with cleaning projects. You'll get great satisfaction from overseeing a seamless maintenance operation, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring our guests enjoy a safe and comfortable stay - all while advancing your career in hospitality!

All that we need from you is the following:

  • Maintenance, handyman, or general construction experience
  • Knowledge of general maintenance and safety
  • Ability to work with all departments, including guest interactions
  • Physical ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing machinery, equipment, or systems
  • Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with electrical, mechanical, or plumbing systems
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or installations
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment needed for maintenance tasks
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities
  • Facilities maintenance experience, including knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Strong leadership skills to supervise and coordinate a small maintenance staff
  • Knowledge of drywall, paint, and patch repair
  • Knowledge of swimming pool and hot tub chemicals and maintenance
  • Ability to perform basic electrical repairs and troubleshooting
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Install and replace basic electrical fixtures, replace light switches, receptacles, light bulbs and fixtures
  • Maintain, repair, and preventative maintenance records

Having leadership or supervising experience is a plus!
