TURN Community Services was founded in 1973 by a group of parents who wanted better services for their adult children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We provide resources to more than 850 individuals with developmental disabilities. With locations from Brigham City to St. George, we offer a full range of services including day programs, residential living, art center programs, summer camp, and supported employment opportunities.

YOUR LIFE AS A RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM ASSISTANT COORDINATOR
As a Residential Program Assistant Coordinator with our nonprofit group home, you play an essential role in helping our program coordinator keep our group home running smoothly. You help the Coordinator plan and execute all aspects of running this program, including ensuring compliance with state and contract standards for programs and facilities. You will assist individuals in the program with social skills, medical needs, personal hygiene, frequent assistance with moving or transfers, which includes lifting up to 50 pounds, social skills and self-care, behavior management, communication, safety, recreation and leisure, and various other skills to learn independence in their lives. The clients in this program enjoy being out and about and doing fun things. You provide additional oversight to the staffing and training of our group home and ensure that residents receive the individual support they need. Following along with our person-centered and behavior support plans, you monitor, supervise, and participate in their development and implementation, which means our residents are always receiving the top-quality care they need. SCHEDULE:
The typical schedule for this position is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 1:00 pm-9:00 pm, and Sunday, 8:00 am-4:00 pm. The assistant will typically have Wednesday and Saturday off. In addition to the typical schedule, flexibility is needed to address urgent program needs or emergencies, and it may include days, swings, overnights, and weekends.
