About the Events Manager
This role is key to maintaining Austin Country Club's reputation as one of the most
prestigious private event venues in Central Texas. The Events Manager will help drive
private event revenue, build industry relationships, and ensure that each wedding or
social gathering is flawlessly executed.


● The Events Manager must have a passion for weddings and social events. This
position is responsible for selling, planning, coordinating, and executing
weddings and social events to include weddings, birthday celebrations, internal
club events, graduation lunches, non profit galas and more.
● The Events Manager will be expected to attend several networking events a
month offsite and entertain onsite to build industry relationships within the
wedding market.
● The Events Manager will be responsible to build relationships in the non-profit
market through research, solicitation, follow up to build the non-profit sector
at the club.
● Strong existing vendor relationships in the Austin wedding market are essential
to success in this role.
● The Events Manager will have ownership of the wedding program from
marketing to solicitation to execution
● The Events Manager is expected to drive revenue, lead planning efforts and
ensure execution excellence.
● The ideal candidate is team-oriented, polished, and thrives in a service-focused,
member-first culture. This role works closely with the club's Executive Chef,
Food & Beverage Managers, and senior leadership team to deliver outstanding
guest experiences.
● The Events Manager will foster strong, professional relationships with clients
and members to ensure trust, satisfaction, and long term partnership success.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years in wedding event management
  • College Degree
  • Ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to Stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years in wedding and event planning in a country club or luxury
    venue/hotel
  • Familiarity with Jonas/JAM and Members First country club software
    Availability
  • This position is full-time. Candidates must be willing to have flexible schedules
    and must be willing to work weekdays, weekends and holidays as needed.
