Tennessee Distilling Group is a distiller of traditional Tennessee Whiskey, American Bourbon, Rye, Corn, and Single Malt Whiskeys. WHAT'S YOUR ROLE?

Our Distillation Supervisor is the driving force behind our distilling lifecycle, overseeing the essential matters that ensure we produce safe and high-quality products. You work closely with our director to ensure every production stage meets customer expectations, quality standards, and manufacturing regulations. Managing distilling teams in two distilleries across three production shifts, you ensure every day goes off without a hitch. Here's a closer look at your responsibilities:

  • • Create shift schedules to ensure manufacturing needs are appropriately met
  • • Ensure production materials are ready and available
  • • Implement and oversee safety and sanitation procedures
  • • Investigate and respond to accidents and rule violations
  • • Help forecast manufacturing needs and manage a production calendar
  • • Observe gauges and dials, monitor temperatures, check valves, and monitor fermentation
  • • Operate pumps and control high-proof distillate stills
  • • Clean tanks, bins, fermenters, cooking areas, and other equipment
  • • Record distillate yield, measure enzymes, and perform grain tests
  • • Help unload grain trucks, monitor equipment functions, and assist in other departments as needed

IS THIS THE PERFECT OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU?

  • • 3+ years of staff supervisory experience
  • • Experience working on a column distillation still - pot still only experience will not be considered
  • • Experience in a production or manufacturing environment
  • • High school diploma or equivalent
  • • Ability to fulfill physical requirements, including lifting 50 pounds, frequently sitting and standing, and working in various weather conditions
  • • Analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to keep a cool head during tense situations
  • • Punctuality and reliability
