What You'll Do
Compensation Strategy & Program Design
- Design innovative, scalable compensation strategies, from base pay to incentives, that align with business goals and reinforce employee engagement.
- Collaborate with HR leadership to build job grades, salary bands, and performance-based pay models.
- Evaluate and improve compensation programs to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity.
Market Analysis & Benchmarking
- Conduct salary benchmarking and market research to maintain competitive and equitable pay structures.
- Leverage industry trends and survey data to recommend strategic compensation adjustments.
Compensation Education & Communication
- Develop and deliver resources to help employees and leaders understand our compensation philosophy and programs.
- Lead training on pay-for-performance models and support managers with job offer guidance and salary decisions.
Compensation Administration & Compliance
- Manage compensation processes including merit increases, promotions, market adjustments, and bonuses.
- Ensure compliance with FLSA, the Equal Pay Act, and evolving compensation-related legislation.
- Maintain data accuracy in HRIS and compensation systems.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Provide leadership with clear, insightful reports on compensation metrics and key performance indicators.
- Analyze trends and develop recommendations that align compensation decisions with business strategy.
HR & Business Partnership
- Collaborate closely with HR and business leaders to ensure compensation supports broader talent strategies.
- Support change initiatives and track the impact of compensation programs on retention, satisfaction, and performance.
Innovation & Process Improvement
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline processes and enhance compensation systems.
- Stay current on compensation trends, pay equity practices, and total rewards innovation.
What You Bring
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in compensation strategy, analysis, and program design
- Strong command of compensation frameworks, salary benchmarking, and pay-for-performance design
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
- Experience with HRIS and compensation management tools
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and data storytelling skills
- Discretion with sensitive data and a high degree of integrity
Preferred:
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Global Remuneration Professional (GRP)
- Familiarity with executive compensation and equity-based incentive plans
- Experience with international or multi-country pay structures
- Proficiency in tools like SAP, Workday, or PayScale
