ARE YOU THE CLINICAL SPECIALIST OUR TEAM NEEDS?

  • Valid driver's license
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Either CNA, or RBT certification to start, must be willing to undergo training (if needed) to gain the other
  • 3+ years of caregiving experience as a CNA
  • Current RBT (preferred) or experience implementing behavioral plans with persons who have challenging behaviors and are willing to obtain nursing skills training
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to meet DEEC/DESE requirements for in-service training hours
  • Experience working with children with developmental disabilities is a plus!

 

WHAT VITAL ASSISTANCE DO YOU PROVIDE?

This full-time Clinical Specialist role offers 40 hours per week, allowing you to make a meaningful impact every day while enjoying a healthy work-life balance.

As a Clinical Specialist, you're continually engaged in hands-on care, checking vital signs, repositioning non-ambulatory students, administering g-tube feeds, and assisting with clinical tasks like enemas or glycerin suppositories. You partner closely with the nursing and behavioral teams to implement care plans, model interventions, and coach staff through best practices. Whether you accompany a student to an appointment, observe and record data, respond to a behavioral event, or maintain documentation, you do it all with professionalism and compassion. You stay ready to act in emergencies, provide support during crises, and ensure that students' health, dignity, and safety are always the top priority.
