WHAT WILL YOU DO EVERY DAY AS A TTB AND AP SPECIALIST?

As a TTB and AP Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that we remain compliant with federal and state excise tax laws. You will prepare and submit TTB reports and tax payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all filings. You will work closely with internal teams, including Plant Management and Sales, to audit records and identify areas for improvement. Part of your role will be conducting self-assurance audits, spotting gaps in compliance, and implementing new processes to ensure our facility operates at the highest regulatory standards. Training plant personnel on updated procedures will also be a key part of your day, ensuring that everyone stays informed and aligned with industry regulations. Staying up to date with changes in the Code of Federal Regulations (Title 27) will be essential as you continuously refine our compliance processes.

 

WHEN WILL YOU WORK?

This is a full-time accounting position, Monday through Friday at our Columbia, TN, location. You will have a consistent schedule that allows you to focus on regulatory compliance, reporting, and process improvement.

 

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE OUR TTB AND AP SPECIALIST?

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field
  • Knowledge of the Code of Federal Regulations (Title 27
  • Accounting experience, especially in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Great communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Word
  • A minimum of 3 years working with TTB and Alternating Proprietorship reporting in beer, wine, or spirts
  • Ability to review audits and improve processes
