YOUR DAY AS OUR CHIEF MAINTENANCE OFFICER

As our Chief Maintenance Officer, you'll lead by example, ensuring our hotel operates smoothly day in and day out. You'll oversee training for our technicians, resolve issues efficiently, and maintain our property and equipment to the highest standards of safety and quality. From servicing the hotel's pool to implementing preventative maintenance programs, your role will be vital in upholding our commitment to excellence!

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Maintenance, handyman, or general construction experience
  • Knowledge of general maintenance and safety
  • Ability to work with all departments, including guest interactions
  • Physical ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing machinery, equipment, or systems
  • Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with electrical, mechanical, or plumbing systems
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or installations
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment needed for maintenance tasks
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities
  • Facilities maintenance experience, including knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Strong leadership skills to supervise and coordinate a small maintenance staff
  • Knowledge of drywall, paint, and patch repair
  • Knowledge of swimming pool and hot tub chemicals and maintenance
  • Ability to perform basic electrical repairs and troubleshooting
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Install and replace basic electrical fixtures, replace light switches, receptacles, light bulbs and fixtures
  • Maintain, repair, and preventative maintenance records.

Having leadership or supervising experience is a plus!
