Role Summary:

Our Case Manager will serve as a vital link between clients, our internal legal team and our co-counsel relationships. To succeed with us, you must have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, strong project management skills, and exceptional writing and communication abilities. You will collaborate with clients/attorneys/paralegals/vendors/QC teams in the mass tort process. This means working closely with QC teams to analyze client databases and conduct fact investigations, assisting clients with understanding the litigation and claims resolution process, relaying the advice and counsel of attorneys to clients, and coordinating with co-counsel to ensure smooth client service and seamless communication. Our firm leverages technology whenever possible to maximize efficiency, accuracy and client service. Our Case Manager will embrace technology tools to flex legal muscle.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Compile and analyze reports for attorneys (i.e., detailing cases settled, remaining plaintiffs in groups of cases and/or status of case investigations);
  • Extensive communication with co-counsel, vendors, clients;
  • Prepare correspondence and legal documents;
  • Analyze case files and address issues that may arise with particular cases;
  • Answer questions and concerns from clients and direct reports;
  • Serve as liaison between the Firm and co-counsel;
  • Work with attorneys on case status updates;
  • Assist attorneys to create and maintain organized client file databases;
  • Keep clients informed by relaying case developments; and
  • General office management duties.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree desired, Paralegal Certificate required;
  • Five (5) to ten (10) years of paralegal work experience;
  • Civil litigation and/or mass tort experience highly preferred;
  • Familiar with MS Suite;
  • Must be highly organized;
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment preferred; and
  • Ability to communicate and work well within a team environment required.

This position requires a formal education and applicable experience.

  • This full-time position works typical business hours from our Scottsdale, AZ office.
  • Your day is filled with video conference meetings to ensure smooth case functioning, followed by analysis and implementation where needed to serve client needs. There is a mix between collaborative group project work and independent execution of your piece of the project.
  • Your contribution is critical to the legal operations within our high volume, fast-paced law firm.
  • Overtime is possible and may be expected from time to time to perform the essential functions of the position.
  • Occasional travel required.
