WHAT'S YOUR DAY LIKE?
As our 2nd Shift Distillation Technician at Tennessee Distilling Group, Ltd., you check the gauges and dials, ensuring temperatures are just right for the perfect mash. With precision, you monitor steam and air valves, making small adjustments that make all the difference. You test pH and gravity, watching the fermentation process unfold before your eyes. Pumping the fermented mash into the beer well, you take pride in knowing this will soon become a fine Tennessee whiskey. Between monitoring the stills and fine-tuning flow rates, you maintain a meticulous record of temperature, pressure, and proof-crafting each batch to perfection. Whether unloading grain trucks, collecting samples or carefully proofing distillate for barreling, your hands-on expertise keeps the process running smoothly.

WHAT'S NEEDED FROM A DISTILLATION TECHNICIAN?
• High school diploma or equivalency
• Production or manufacturing environment experience
• Experience in Column still production, Pot still experience will not be considered
• A Bachelor of Science in Biology or Chemistry is preferred
