A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSESSMENT NURSE
As an Assessment Nurse, your primary responsibility is to ensure that residents receive high-quality care tailored to their needs. You begin your day by collaborating with the Wellness Director to complete comprehensive head-to-toe assessments for each resident, ensuring their care plans are up-to-date and accurately reflect their health status. You monitor changes in residents' well-being, communicate findings to the nursing staff, and make recommendations for adjustments to care plans as needed. Occasionally, you provide on-call support when the Wellness Director is unavailable, maintaining a seamless continuum of care.
