Austin Country Club is seeking a full-time Cafeteria Cook - Employee Chef to join our culinary team in Austin, TX. As part of our culinary team, you will have the opportunity to create rotating, seasonal menus that focus on nutritious, balanced meals for our staff. This full-time Cafeteria Cook - Employee Chef position offers $21/hour and the chance to have a direct impact on employee well-being through carefully crafted meals. WHAT'S YOUR DAY LIKE?

As a Cafeteria Cook - Employee Chef, you will be responsible for developing and preparing rotating, seasonal menus that emphasize fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Your focus will be on creating nutritious, satisfying meals made from scratch, while offering diverse options including plant-based, gluten-free, and high-protein dishes to meet the dietary needs of our staff. You will work closely with employees to gather feedback, continuously improving meal offerings and ensuring a positive and welcoming café environment. Additionally, you will collaborate with HR and leadership to create wellness-focused meal programs aimed at supporting the health of our team. You will also manage inventory, oversee ordering, and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure cost-effective sourcing of quality ingredients. Throughout the day, you will ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met and maintain a clean, organized kitchen.

WHAT'S NEEDED FROM A CAFETERIA COOK - EMPLOYEE CHEF?
