We are pleased to offer you a sign-on bonus of up to $2,650.

Bonuses are prorated for regular scheduled shifts of less than 40 hours.

QUALIFICATIONS

Our 2nd Shift Children's Residential Counselor can work on a full-time, part-time, or per diem basis. Here are the minimum qualifications:

  • 18+ years of age
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Capable of remaining awake during an overnight shift to ensure the safety and well-being of students
  • Able to work holidays and weekend shifts as required
  • Able to perform activities of daily living
  • Able to perform physical interventions as necessary to provide the safest environment for our students
  • A mandatory 1 week of training is required with a schedule of Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.

A high school degree or equivalent would be preferred. Caregiving experience would be a plus!

2ND SHIFT CHILDREN'S RESIDENTIAL COUNSELOR RESPONSIBILITIES

This position works a schedule of 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm and works every other weekend as part of the bi-weekly schedule.

You warmly greet students before diving into a day filled with purpose and care. Depending on each individual's needs, you support students with daily living and caregiving tasks like general housekeeping, cooking, and personal hygiene. You model healthy behaviors and social skills for students and encourage them to engage in recreational activities. As you guide students, celebrate their success, and support their growth, you take pride in leaving a positive, lasting impact!
