ABOUT THE ROLE

Position Type: Full-Time, In-Office


Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Remote Fridays available after 90 days

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful HR – Benefits Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a trusted resource for employees, guiding them through the complexities of benefits programs and ensuring they have the tools to make informed decisions about their health, retirement, and overall well-being.

You will be responsible for analyzing and managing employee data to guarantee accurate benefit enrollments while maintaining strict compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires you to clearly explain intricate programs-such as retirement plans, health insurance, and other group benefits-making them accessible and understandable for all employees.

 

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include verifying forms, managing benefit applications, liaising with insurance providers, resolving claims issues, and ensuring seamless benefit operations. You'll also play a key role in identifying enhancements to our benefits offerings and delivering informative sessions to employees to maximize engagement and understanding.

 

 

THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO BE CONSIDERED

    • Proven experience in benefits administration, human resources, or insurance-related roles (5+ years of experience)
    • Strong understanding of benefits regulations, including ERISA, COBRA, and group insurance
    • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
    • Meticulous attention to detail with strong organizational capabilities
    • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion

     

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
