YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

As a Building Maintenance Technician, you're responsible for ensuring that our hotel is always in tip-top shape. You work on a wide range of tasks, including basic repairs, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting. Daily tasks may include things like fixing electrical issues, maintaining HVAC systems, and keeping up with plumbing upkeep. You're also responsible for helping with things like painting, drywall repair, and making sure that our facilities are always clean and well-maintained. One of the great things about this role is that you get hands-on experience and learn about what it takes to keep a hotel running smoothly. It's a dynamic environment where no two days are quite the same!

ARE YOU A GOOD FIT?

The knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • Knowledge of craft trades (carpentry, painting, tile, wall vinyl, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, pool, etc)
  • Knowledge and experience in physical plan maintenance
  • Ability to effectively communicate with guests, vendors, supervisors, and associates
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, bend, stoop, and reach
  • Hospitality-driven and friendly
  • Previous hotel experience is (preferred)
