This pro re nata position provides both weekend and intermittent weekday shift coverage. Weekend availability is a must, however, weekday availability is not required.

YOUR NEW ROLE AS A PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT:

Embark on a rewarding journey as a Physical Therapy Assistant where you'll be an essential force in implementing plans of care established by our dedicated physical therapists. Your role will encompass the thorough documentation of daily and progress notes, ensuring the seamless billing of treatments, and reporting patient progress, concerns, and changes.

Engaging with a multidisciplinary team, you'll actively contribute to team conferences and discharge planning, amplifying the impact of our collaborative efforts. By administering treatments including transfer training, mobility enhancement, and strength exercises, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing patients' quality of life. You'll get great fulfillment from being an invaluable asset to our dynamic environment!

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Professional or technical degree or equivalent in physical therapy
  • Graduate of a CAPTE Educational Program for Physical Therapist Assistants
  • Current license in good standing with the Utah DOPL
  • CPR certification
