THE TYPE OF LAUNDRY ATTENDANT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Experience in housekeeping or a strong willingness to learn in a senior housing environment
• Compassionate attitude towards the elderly and a commitment to providing exceptional care
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring extended periods of standing, walking, and stooping
• Ability to follow safety protocols and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly

WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE OUR LAUNDRY ATTENDANT

This is a full-time cleaning and housekeeping position with a typical work schedule of Monday through Friday, providing you with a consistent 32 to 40 hours each week.

As a Laundry Attendant, you will start your day ready to positively impact the lives of our residents. You will efficiently wash, dry, and fold laundry for both residents and staff, ensuring that everything is clean and presentable. In addition, you will organize and manage the laundry inventory, making sure everything is easily accessible. Throughout your day, you will maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the laundry area while diligently following safety protocols and handling cleaning chemicals responsibly. Your compassion for our elderly residents will shine through in the care you take in your work, as you contribute to creating a warm and welcoming environment.
