TURN Community Services was founded in 1973 by a group of parents who wanted better services for their adult children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We provide resources to more than 850 individuals with developmental disabilities. With locations from Brigham City to St. George, we offer a full range of services including day programs, residential living, art center programs, summer camp, and supported employment opportunities.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Are you ready to embark on a thrilling journey as a Residential Support Worker? You'll provide support and guidance to individuals with disabilities in various living programs. You'll assist with medication administration, hygiene, grooming, shopping, meal preparation, transportation, and housekeeping, empowering individuals to be as independent as possible. You'll do this all while working afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Using effective teaching and mentoring techniques, you'll also provide life skills training, including financial management and behavior management strategies. You'll help individuals access their community, whether it's through employment, building relationships, or finding recreational activities they enjoy. As a direct support professional, you'll be a role model, demonstrating appropriate social skills and behaviors. We have several locations open for this position including South Salt Lake, Salt Lake City, and Midvale.

The schedule for this position will vary depending on the needs of the program and may include day, swing, overnight and weekend hours.
