A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HOTEL FRONT DESK AUDITOR - NIGHT SHIFT CLERK
As a Hotel Front Desk Auditor - Night Shift Clerk, you play an essential role in keeping our guest operations running smoothly. You register guests and assign rooms, accommodating any special requests when possible. When guests are ready to check out, you make the process as quick and efficient as you can. You also assist with pre-registration and block any reservations when necessary. By closely following established procedures, you stay compliant with unit cash handling as well as credit and check cashing policies.
In addition, you keep our front desk area clean and presentable for guests. If a guest comes to you with a complaint or concern, you work quickly to provide prompt resolutions. You audit guest accounts to ensure room rates and market codes are correct. At times, you also audit group accounts to ensure postings are in accordance with sales contracts. You post room rates and taxes to all accounts as well as run necessary computer reports to successfully complete accounting documents.
