YOUR ROLE

As an Automation Systems Specialist, you are responsible for managing and executing allocated projects within your field of expertise. Your crucial role ensures that the technical properties of the project are met, and the scope of work is completed successfully. Working closely with the Project Manager, you contribute to the execution of sub-systems for more complex projects, while also approving the deliverables of designs. Your expertise is highly valued in both internal and external project reviews and meetings. Additionally, you play an essential role in organizing and participating in debriefing meetings after the completion of projects.

This full-time engineering position requires domestic and international travel 10-20% of the time; including long hours and non-traditional work schedules.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Technical/Vocational diploma or degree from an accredited institution in mechanical, electrical, or automation engineering or related field
  • 2 years of related experience; or a combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong understanding of English
  • Knowledge of the following hardware is preferred: AutoCAD, Ebase or Eplan; Software – Windows Server 2012, Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server 2012, VMware, HyperV; PCL – Studio 5000, TIA Portal
