YOUR DAY AS A BAKERY KITCHEN CREW LEAD
As a Bakery Kitchen Crew Lead, you will be responsible for the overall kitchen operations, maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety. Your day will begin by overseeing menu development, ensuring it reflects French culinary traditions while incorporating modern trends and seasonal, local ingredients. You will manage kitchens across more than two locations, focusing on consistency and excellence in food preparation and presentation. Your role will involve recruiting, training, and supervising kitchen staff, developing schedules, assigning tasks, and conducting performance evaluations.
You will also ensure food quality and safety by implementing and enforcing health and safety regulations and conducting regular inspections. Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling costs to maintain budgetary goals will be part of your routine. Additionally, you will interact with customers to understand their preferences and feedback, ensuring exceptional dining experiences. You will plan and execute special events, banquets, and catering services in collaboration with event coordinators. Staying updated with industry trends and continuously innovating to enhance the culinary offerings, you will experiment with new recipes and techniques to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
