WHAT'S THE SCOPE?
In this Kitchen Management Lead - Chef role, you will oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety. We offer a competitive starting salary of $90,000 annually.
This is a full-time position. The typical schedule will vary based on the needs of our locations and will include shifts during evenings, weekends, and holidays. Flexibility is key to ensuring the highest standards of service and food quality across all our kitchens.
YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS MATTER
As the Kitchen Management Lead - Chef in our bakery, you will oversee the entire kitchen operation, ensuring that all aspects meet our high standards of quality and safety. You will be responsible for menu development, combining traditional French culinary techniques with modern trends while incorporating seasonal and local ingredients. Each day, you will manage kitchens across multiple locations, ensuring consistency and excellence in food preparation and presentation. You will recruit, train, and supervise kitchen staff, develop schedules, assign tasks, and conduct performance evaluations, all while fostering a positive and collaborative team environment. Maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety will be a priority, as will implementing and enforcing health and safety regulations.
You will conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance. Additionally, you will manage inventory and order supplies, control costs to maintain budgetary goals, and monitor food and labor costs. Customer satisfaction is paramount, and you will interact with customers to understand their preferences and feedback, ensuring exceptional dining experiences. In collaboration with event coordinators, you will plan and execute special events, banquets, and catering services. Staying updated with industry trends and continuously innovating to enhance the culinary offerings will be a vital part of your role as well.
