WHAT DOES YOUR DAY ENTAIL?
This full-time position requires significant international travel. You will be traveling overseas at least 30% of the time, with peaks as high as 50%. When not traveling, you will be based in our Owatonna, MN location.
As an International Production Manager, your days will be filled with impactful and diverse activities. You will be at the helm of managing the transfer and updates of critical drawings between BSCI and Buhler entities, ensuring all documentation is precise and up-to-date. You'll coordinate facility and investment requirements with local Buhler entities, designing and implementing efficient manufacturing process flows between suppliers and local teams. Your expertise will shine as you organize and oversee remote training of production and quality procedures by BSCI personnel, as well as training local applications engineers and service personnel. You will manage vendor approvals and oversee the qualification process of final products produced at overseas Buhler facilities. Ensuring a seamless flow from inquiry to order, and order to shipment, you'll integrate essential production and quality data into BSCI core business systems.
REQUIREMENTS FOR AN INTERNATIONAL PRODUCTION MANAGER:
