This part-time position offers approximately 20 - 25 hours per week, providing the flexibility of a hybrid on-site/work from home arrangement. While most work can be done remotely, candidates must be local and available to be on-site daily if needed. THE TYPE OF CANDIDATE WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 3+ years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a hospitality environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of general HR policies, procedures, and practices
  • Desire to continually enhance and expand HR knowledge
  • Organization skills, detail orientation, and deadline-driven ability to establish priorities
  • Excellent business communication and presentation skills
  • Desire to work as a team with a results-driven, adaptable, and resourceful approach
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required

A PHR/SHRM-CP or SPHR/SHRM-SCP is a plus! A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is preferred.


YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS A HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST

As a part-time Human Resources Generalist, you will immerse yourself in the full-cycle recruiting process. You will source talent, attract candidates, and implement recruiting strategies for challenging positions. By applying HR best practices, you will screen, assess, interview, and hire exceptional employees who align with our company values. Collaboration with managers to identify future hiring needs and performing job and task analysis will be part of your daily routine. Additionally, you will create and update job descriptions, manage the applicant tracking system, and facilitate new-employee orientations. On the payroll side, you will process weekly payroll accurately and promptly, handle employment verifications, and maintain HR information systems. You will also be responsible for processing HR transactions such as new hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations. Embracing miscellaneous tasks, you will conduct research, handle confidential information with professionalism, and be a trusted member of the management team.
