THE VITAL ROLE YOU HAVE:

As the Workforce Development Program Coordinator, you're responsible for managing daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring the successful enrollment of participants into our programs. You conduct outreach to state agencies and referral partners, establishing strong relationships to support our mission. Throughout the day, you provide orientation and oversight to staff, ensuring exceptional service delivery and programmatic success. Your dedication and leadership help individuals overcome barriers and achieve meaningful employment outcomes, making a real difference in their lives and our community!

This position works a full-time schedule. While travel is primarily local during the business day, some out-of-area and overnight travel may be required to support the objectives of our business units within the portfolio.

 

QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Bachelor's degree in vocational rehabilitation, counseling, social work, or another relevant area with 2+ years of case management experience and 1+ years of experience working in a human service or community-based setting OR an associate degree in a related field with 3+ years of case management experience and experience working with individuals with disabilities or other barriers
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly attentive with exceptional organization and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Experience working in or the ability to demonstrate commitment to nonprofit work targeting economically disadvantaged populations such as homeless, elderly, ex-offenders, low-wage earners, individuals with disabilities, working families, un/underemployed, and hard-to-place individuals is highly preferred. Being bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus!
