BECOMING OUR WORK READINESS - VOCATIONAL EVALUATOR
Schedule:
You enjoy a Monday through Friday schedule between 8 AM and 5 PM. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required, along with approximately 20% travel within the assigned work area.
Day-to-Day:
Your day begins by meeting with participants to conduct a comprehensive vocational assessment to identify their strengths, skills, and interests. You develop a personalized career plan with clear action steps, empowering them to take the next steps toward their goals. Throughout the day, you manage your caseload with empathy and efficiency, connecting participants to support services and educational opportunities to enhance their employability. Your expertise in vocational evaluation and career counseling guides individuals through their vocational journeys, ultimately helping them achieve greater stability and success. As a vital member of our Education and Training team, your contributions make a lasting impact on the lives of those we serve!
Qualifications:
Being bilingual is a plus! Having experience working with public assistance recipients, homeless, formally incarcerated, individuals with disabilities, or those affected by the challenges associated with poverty is preferred but not required!
