WHAT YOUR DAY ENTAILS
Ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals seeking to define their career paths? As a Vocational Evaluator, you'll conduct in-person and online assessments to help participants identify their strengths, interests, and career goals. You'll develop personalized career plans, providing guidance on job training and educational opportunities while ensuring access to essential support services such as childcare and transportation. Your role will involve managing a caseload of participants, meeting fortnightly contact requirements, and connecting individuals to valuable resources within the community. By administering assessments, writing detailed reports, and making referrals to job training and educational providers, you'll play a crucial role in empowering individuals to achieve self-sufficiency and thrive in their communities!
QUALIFICATIONS
Being bilingual is a plus! Having experience working with public assistance recipients, homeless, formally incarcerated, individuals with disabilities, or those affected by the challenges associated with poverty is preferred but not required!
WORK SCHEDULE
As a Vocational Evaluator, you'll enjoy a Monday through Friday schedule between 8 AM and 5 PM, with occasional evening and weekend work when needed. This position also involves approximately 20% travel within the assigned work area.
