WHAT YOUR ROLE LOOKS LIKE:
You start your day with a smile, knowing that you're about to embark on a journey filled with laughter, learning, and growth. As a Camp Counselor, you greet each camper with warmth and enthusiasm, helping them feel welcome and at ease. Throughout the day, you engage campers in a variety of activities, from arts and crafts to outdoor adventures. You assist them as needed, providing support and encouragement while fostering their independence. During meal times, you facilitate conversations and social interactions, reinforcing valuable social skills. Every moment is an opportunity to make a difference, and you embrace it wholeheartedly.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
For applicants under 18 years old, possession of a New York State Student Employment Certificate is required.
We would prefer flexible candidates with camping experience as well as someone with experience working with children and a desire to work outdoors but it's not required!
WORK SCHEDULE & LOCATION:
This is a full-time seasonal position available from July 1st to August 16th, excluding July 4th. Our Camp Counselors will be located in Cohoes, NY, surrounded by beautiful outdoor scenery and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of campers.
