THE VITAL ROLE YOU HAVE:
As a Special Education Teacher at Easterseals New York, you'll design a stimulating environment tailored to meet the unique needs of each student. From creating daily lesson plans to implementing behavioral systems approved by the treatment team, your role is crucial in fostering academic and social-emotional growth. You'll maintain progress scales for each pupil, attend case conferences, and ensure accurate attendance records are maintained. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, supervising aides, and organizing extracurricular activities are all part of your rewarding journey to empower students with disabilities.

Our ideal Special Education Teacher has flexibility, a desire to work outdoors, and experience working with children! You'll enjoy a consistent and fulfilling work schedule. Applicants must be available from July 1st to August 16th (excluding July 4th).
