YOUR DAY AS AN EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST
As an Employment Specialist at Families Forward, you'll play a crucial role in assisting individuals receiving TANF benefits to overcome barriers and achieve employment goals. You'll establish trust and rapport with program participants, conducting comprehensive intakes to assess their needs and goals. Partnering with participants, you'll develop service plans known as Family Contract Amendments (FCA) outlining short- and long-term employment goals. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include maintaining regular contact with participants, documenting progress, and providing ongoing support. Additionally, you'll build partnerships with external providers to ensure access to necessary services and support. Your dedication and expertise will help individuals and families on their journey to economic stability and independence.
