MAKING A DIFFERENCE AS OUR LEAD WORK READINESS INSTRUCTOR

As a Lead Work Readiness Instructor, you'll play a vital role in preparing individuals for success in the workforce. You'll coach, facilitate, and teach participants in various aspects of work readiness, including resume writing, interview techniques, and job search strategies. By creatively mixing training topics and modes of delivery, you'll create a stimulating learning environment, keeping participants motivated throughout the employment preparation process. Additionally, you'll train and provide support to a network of NGO Service Providers and conduct screenings for program eligibility, fostering excitement over enrollment. Your responsibilities will also include planning and developing materials for each class, facilitating work readiness groups, coordinating job searches and hiring fairs, and achieving monthly job placement goals. With your guidance and support, participants will gain the confidence and skills necessary to secure meaningful employment and build brighter futures!

This full-time position will typically operate Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with one evening and/or one weekend day on a rotating basis.

  • Associate degree from an accredited college or university
  • 1+ years of experience in adult learning, workforce development, career training, or other employment-related field
  • 1 year of leadership experience in a case management or social services role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
