YOUR SCHEDULE

Ideally, our Direct Support Professional is flexible with scheduling and able to work some evening, overnight, and weekend hours.

YOUR DAY

As an entry-level Direct Support Professional, you visit clients in our community residential home and support them in their day-to-day living. In addition to general care tasks such as housekeeping and meal prep, you support program participants in developing valuable vocational and social skills. You help foster their independence by encouraging them to participate in community activities, job tasks, and residential get-togethers. Attentively, you provide direct care according to each participant's treatment plan and record your observations to help track individual progress. No matter what you're doing, you have a positive attitude and a strong desire to help!

QUALIFICATIONS

• Approved Medication Assistive Personnel (AMAP) certification OR ability to obtain one
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Valid driver's license and ability to transport program participants in a personal vehicle
• Passion for working with individuals with disabilities in community and residential settings

2+ years of work experience would be preferred.
